That's right you will make 2 collaged envelopes and enclose one inside the other to send to your partner. Make sure you artfully cover the front of your envelopes - the backside is optional. Stickers and washi can absolutely be used to enhance this collage, but lets NOT make them the main components (often, there are other swaps for washi covered and sticker slapped envies).
=======
Since this is a senders choice swap, you can start getting this one together as soon as you hit the join button Remember to mark your swap so that your partner may easily find the swap name and your ID and then send on time and please rate promptly as this helps your partner know that the swap has arrived safe.

=========
Theme is senders choice, so keep this in mind when joining. You should take care to create something you would be happy to receive. Please fill 2 of the pockets with some goodies and then put a small note to your partners in the remaining pocket. ========
Thats it! Just cover the front of a post card. We know how washi can be, so please make sure you glue all your washi down to make sure it arrives intact to your partners. Then, write a nice quote or a small message and send on time! Best part is, you can make this before partners are assigned since this is senders choice. Now, lets use up some of this washi!
========
You can feel free to decorate as you wish but make sure you cover the front with washi.

This swap has been recreated with permission by Limoncello

Looking for some ideas to use up your washi tape collection? This swap will be similar to a sticker slam book swap, but instead of stickers, you will use washi tape from your collection (washi tape, not washi stickers). You will have 1 partner, sending them 2 washi tape slam books.

If you are new to this type of swap, you will make a booklet with 6-8 pages (I make mine 4.25” x 5.50” to keep the postage rate down), adding the following info:

Made By: (this is your name & swap-bot name)

Washi Tape Slam For: (this can be for yourself OR another person such as a past swap partner or friend [but not the partner you are matched with]), include your/their mailing address since the book will be mailed back to you/them when the pages are filled.

You will be assigned 1 swap partners, sending your partner two (2) washi tape slam books (two books in total)

If you have washi tape slams from other swaps that still have pages to add washi tape into, you can send those out to your partners (or a combo of partially filled book AND a new book). Please don’t forward booklet if the partner you matched with on this swap has already filled a page. ALSO, make sure the book itself was not made BY or FOR your partner.

Remember if the last page is filled, it needs to go to the person that the book was made for, and not be part of this swap. When the time comes that you receive a booklet that only has one page left to decorate, please send the completed booklet within 2 weeks of receiving it and adding your page with washi tape to it.

Please NO theme pages, this makes it easier to use what we have on hand. Please have the receiver of your book fill one entire page with a variety of washi tape with their address label on the same page. The maker of the book may add washi tape to the first page, if they would like, but it is not necessary.

NOTE: Since washi tape often doesn’t stick fully, please, lightly glue it down on the page (but don’t cover with clear tape)

If your assigned swap partner has signed the booklet you have in your possession, PLEASE MAKE A NEW BOOKLET.

Please be considerate & make smaller washi tape slam booklets, like the measurements I shared above. This will keep the postage rates down for others when they add to your book

💗 Please be kind when rating 💗 Postal deliveries are taking longer than usual, please keep this in mind when rating.

Happy Swapping

You can talk about anything you like - the weather where you are or how you WISH it was, lol Maybe about something fun you did this week or an event you're planning to go to. You can even just put a nice, encouraging quote and leave it at that. The real point of this is to create a nice collage that will brighten the mailbox of your partner and maybe even spread some smiles along the way.
=======
Since this is a senders choice swap, you can start getting this one together as soon as you hit the join button
===========
You can use one of those postcards you really dont like or, a postcard blank, even a cereal box cut to traditional post card size (about 4X6 inches) works. as long as the front side is collaged and the backside has a nice note, youre good!
==========
Remember to mark your swap so that your partner may easily find the swap name and your ID and then send on time and please rate promptly as this helps your partner know that the swap has arrived safe.

For those of you who are new, I've included a short introduction to FBs and how to make them below. I've taken on this swap series over from the previous host @Mem306 last year

A friendship book (also known as a FB) is a small handmade booklet made with a few blank pages. Each swapper adds their address information via a stamp, label, or just writing with a pen. The goal is to fill each friendship book up with many names and addresses before sending the book back to it's designated home.

For this swap, you will send 3 new or established friendship books to your partner. Please make sure the books you send are not made for your partner and that they have not signed them. If you make new books, please make sure they can fit in a normal sized envelope. Make sure to include the name of the swap and your swapbot username when sending out your swap.

If you receive 3 friendship books from someone, rate them a 5. If you are late sending out your swap, I'd ask that you please communicate with your partner. This should be a fun, no sweat kind of swap.
