This is a HIGH dollar swap (for this group), lol! Many thanks to @LongVacation for suggesting this in the forum - I wanted to do one, but she got me going! :D

You must find the following items for your partner:

  2. Something wearable

  3. Something shiny

  4. Something relaxing

  5. Something for a party

You will have one partner and make sure to read their profile! Anyone in the $1 Store Group in good standing is able to join unless you have a no-send. This is also an International swap, so please think about postage when you purchase!

In my area, there are two "Dollar Stores". Their prices have gone up to $1.25/item and $1.50/item. I don't have a Target or Michaels within the city and I don't drive. (It's not a big deal in San Francisco). ;)

I can only assume this is not the only locale that is having this issue. I am happy to send the five items myself, but if for any reason your dollar stores are pricier and you are having problems finding quality at $5.00 please let your partner or myself know BEFORE sending your packages.

Hi, Just a suggestion...I don't limit myself to dollar stores and Targets, etc. I've been finding really great deals in the clearance area of the drugstore or even the hospital gift shop. I got a Gund ornament ($6.95) for $1 in a mystery bag at the hospital...I also got recipe cards in another bag...you don't know what you will get but it is always worth more than a dollar. Anyhow, don't limit yourself the deals are out there!

I just spent a too much at Michaels and got some GREAT deals! Lots of excellent crafting things for less than $1!

lol...how are the cats! ha! why not - i can host another. small turnout for such a large group and small cost...school time, maybe? i'll do it when this one's over with a new list. :) thanks, hon! :D
