| Description: | |
| Use a brayer or cotton ball to apply dye based ink (I used Adirondack ink) to light colored or white cardstock. Hold a spray bottle of water about 8 inches from the cardstock & spritz once or twice. Blot with a paper towel. This is important....blot, do not rub with the paper towel.
Allow the paper to dry for just a few moments but, do NOT let it dry. I let it dry just long enough to open a drawer that holds my Perfect Pearls & open the jar. With a paint brush, apply a light coating of Perfect Pearls.
For the last step, I sprayed the finished ATC with hair spray to seal it so the Perfect Pearls doesn't rub off. I can not find my can of sealant.
The sample on the right was done with white cardstock. The ink is Rust, Butterscotch & Terra Cotta. I used Gold Perfect Pearls. For the sample on the left, I used light yellow cardstock & the same colors of ink. This time I used Bronze Perfect Pearls.
This may read that it is complicated but it was easy & a lot of fun. | |
