I had previously hosted a similar swap outside of our group and thought it might be a fun ATC to host here in the group.

For this swap you will create 1 ATC for 1 partner incorporating 10 "elements" in your ATC. I'm using "elements" very loosely; this doesn't mean there will be 10 embellishments on your ATC! Here is an example of 10 "elements":

  • backing

  • background paper

  • ink or acrylic paint wash

  • stenciling w/ink, chalk, or impasto

  • focal picture/element

  • inking

  • ribbon/paper strips

  • glitter

  • 2 embellishments/jewels

  • gel medium

Just an example! Feel free to interpret "elements" in your own way and include a note for your partner detailing your interpretation.

If there's any chance to get the deadline extended one more week, I could probably pull this off without worrying. Such a great theme!

I extended the send by date by 7 days before realizing that @choke had not signed up! I goofed. So, ladies . . . we all have an extra 7 days to send if we need it but partners are already assigned so feel free to send @ any time.

No worries, I didn't want to risk it. I hope you'll do this again in the future. I have more time for crafting in the winter :)
