What a great idea i love it! What if ive never had a stamp journal? Can i just begin one now and send it out blank? I have so many stamps here that i collect simply just to send out to people who ask for them but i love this idea and will get started.

Smmarrty - If you can fill one page that would be awesome, if you have less, that's okay too. At least ten stamps... And yes, it will be returned to the owner and not to a new partner.

joyceann888 - Please soak the stamps. Fill a bucket with hot water, soak for 15 minutes and let them dry on a towel.

Thanks joycE30. I found my shoebox full of stamps, but they are mostly US - is that okay? Do we decorate the covers? Do we make the first collage? I'm not sure what you have in mind for the journal itself. Would a 5'x 7' moleskin be suitable? Like smmarrty, I just need to be clear. Thanks for your help and for hosting this swap.

Any country, any theme, any size, stamps are stamps! If you want to decorate the cover and/or make the first collage, it's all up to you! Any size/brand is okay, just don't buy a very heavy one.

Do you love stamps? Collages? Journals? This swap combines them all! "I have two stamp journals. One special one for Japanese stamps and one for stamps around the world. I don't keep the normal stamp albums, i stick them in my journals with glue, like a collage - Check this link for a example http://instagram.com/p/afnXCXjndQ/ - Now i wanted to try this with other people.." Buy a journal, don't buy a huge heavy one to save on shipping, this will be a International swap. A thin, normal size journal should do. Write your name/address, swap name etc on the inside of the back cover. Soak your stamps if they are still on postcards or envelopes! Put them in hot water for 15 minutes and let them dry on a towel. Stick as many, at least ten, used stamps that you have, like a collage and send it back to the owner of the journal. When all the journals are back to their owners, i will open a new round. If you are from Asia, please put on some nice pictorial postmarks! Let's stick some stamps, stamp my journal!
