So this swap is for one completely handmade reusable tote bag, or you may take an existing bag in very good condition and embellish it in to something new for your partner.

The title suggests that the bag should be of recycled material. So, for example, if I crochet a bag, does the yarn have to be recycled (plarn, yarn made from old T-shirt, etc.)?

Your bag can be made by recycling something else, though it is not required that it be. We just want to make some reusable bags so we lower our dependence on plastic and paper. ;)

You have two of these swaps for tote bags up? Are they the same swap or is there a subtle difference (other than a slight variation in their names) I should be aware of? I only ask because a) I once accidentally listed a swap twice (a system glitch) and b) I make upcycled/recycled tote bags and would love to join one (or both) of your swaps! :D

It's basically the same swap, one is USA only and the other is open to everyone. I just did it that way to help on shipping costs for our group members but you are more then welcome to join one or both. ;)
