It was also really neat to hear that 2017 was a huge year for sightings... I wonder why they occured more that year. I hope one day I can make a trip there! It sounds lovely and I can't believe that only 5% of the population lives in that area. I love love LOVE the postcards that you sent, the ATC and the little note book that your friend makes! I am so excited to add the PCs into my collection as well as the ATC!! The little "BELIEVE" charm on it is such a cute addition and the artwork is amazing! I plan on using the little notebook as a mini art journal, I love it!! Thank you so much again for everything<3 I adore it all with my entire heart and I am so grateful! <3<3

Comment: Your coins were great! I, too, like painted papers and collage. When I'm not feeling really creative about a particular project, I can just sit down with acrylics and texture tools and do a big piece that can be cut into backgrounds. That usually gets me back into an artsy frame of mind.

And in Michigan on our license plates back then, the tagline was "Winter Wonderland". And you put those very words on the ATC!!! I love the creative way you made the snow, and the extra sparkle, and all the unique snowflakes. Love that saying from Aristotle too - I had never heard that before, even though I should have since Michigan gets a ton of snow every year. Comment: OH! I love the cats on books Christmas card and the kitty themed tags/bookmarks enclosed. And I love the letter about your kitties, too. The shyness of calico cats must be genetic- my calico jumps and runs at any strange noise and lately it has been the snowplow going by or Amazon bringing us packages (tis the season for both!) Our other cat-a black is her sister-talk about day and night! We got them as rescues at Christmas time 11 years ago and they gave us a buy one-get one free deal-we were looking for two anyway! Comment: I am taken aback with the Yokai you sent I hadn't really heard of Yokai before this swap but am now enthralled and can't get enough. You were right most of them are a bit gruesome though you found one that while mischievous has such a sweet vibe. Her little kimono just put it over the edge. Well done and thank you for the cards and are those Yokai stickers as well.😍.

Response: You are welcome. I love gelli printing! I usually set up an extra table and do a big batch. I experiment with all sorts of color combos, some I love, some not so much! It is a quick way to get interesting backgrounds. I also use the painted papers to make die cuts. Complete the cart transaction you won’t regret it!

Since the recent restrictions, and with our travel plans cancelled, we have been taking a lot of day-trips by car. We have seen a lot of things we never 'bothered with' while living within a couple hour's drive all our lives.

Comment: I liked your chunk! Big, but a nice clean design w/message. Question: what did you use for the center divider stamp? It looks like you could have made it? Or did you buy that. It looks kinda like bubbles (or moons made out of green cheese) along a line with random zigzags.
Response: Too big? The stamp came with some cartoonish monster stamps. It has several bubble like stamps.

My first reaction upon opening your beautifully packaged/wrapped shadow box was to gasp in joy and delight (which I did), My second was the thought that perhaps I didn't go quite far enough with MY creation...it's flat! I have yours on my craft room windowsill right now, and I love the sweet snowy scene. It's such a wonderful thing to look at, and I plan to enjoy it throughout the winter. Thank you so much!

Doors have been a symbol in my life for ~4 years now and I have been collecting them with the intention of creating an art journal.The card and the photo of the door handle are going in it. Feathers have also been symbol for ~ a year. I've also been collecting them for an art journal. So the precious baggie of feathers and the feather photo will find a resting place in it. The others will go into a Monochrome art journal I started. Thank you for the mulberry papers, I promise to use them, not hoard them!

Comment: How in heavens name did you know we lives in Lawton, Oklahoma for seven years. Your map brought many wonderful memories. We love to travel see. My goal is when I'm an old lady in a nursing home I can say I've been in all 50 states. Have only South Carolina and Florida left to visit. Thank you for the awesome ATC.

Comment: I love BOTH of these cactus' so much! I have decided recently that cactus are my spirit animals. Yeah, I know, they're plants, but they are perfect in so many ways. I want to move back to the desert where they grow with abandon.

Response: glad you liked the cats 😍 I sprayed ink on a plastic mat and blotted the paper in it. I finished it with a pearlescent spray. dylusions ink.
